3 lbs. chicken

1 onion diced

celery diced

4 chicken boullion cubes

parsley if desired

Cook together in water until tender. Remove chicken from broth and remove bones and skin. Cut into pieces.

Noodles

4 eggs

2 halfshells of water

baking powder ( on tip of knife)

enough flour until it's no longer sticky

Take 3 eggs and water and beat well. Add baking powder and flour. Batter will get very stiff, then knead it and roll out into 3 or 4 pieces. Cut into squares and add to boiling broth. Stir so squares don't stick together. Don't cover tightly. Simmer about 8 minutes. take other egg and beat. Add 1 shell cold water. Add some flour to thicken. Stir into broth. add cut up chicken. May need more water. Sorry this recipe isn't more specific about measurements, but this is the way Grandma had it written down. You just gotta do your best estimate on some things!
